Ubuntu Tips Applet version 0.1

Ubuntu Tips Applet shows useful tips with fortunes-ubuntu-server package using notify.
You can see tips by clicking the app icon or you can set refresh time for showing tips in the Notification.
Written in Python.

Installation

Download and install the deb, then follow the instruction:
  1. Right-click on the gnome-panel and select 'Add to Panel...'
  2. Find 'Ubuntu Tips', select it and click 'Add'



  3. Right-click on the UbuntuTips icon and select 'Preferences'.
    Set refresh time which you want and press 'Save', then 'Exit'
