Ubuntu Tips Applet

shows useful tips with fortunes-ubuntu-server package using notify.
You can see tips by select item in the applet menu or you can set refresh time for showing tips in the Notification.
Written in Python.

Installation

Download and install the deb, then follow the instruction:

1. Select 'Applications' -> 'Accessories' -> 'Ubuntu Tips Applet'
2. Ubuntu Tips icon will be added to the GNOME panel
3. Right-click on the Ubuntu Tips icon and select 'Preferences'.
   Set refresh time which you want and press 'Save', then 'Exit'
